    1) New Glarus Pilsner (unknown ABV): A German Pilsner from Wisconsin with flavors of lemon and floral hops, yeasty with a soft, but bitter finish
    versus
    2) Fair State Pilsner (5.1%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of lemongrass, yeast, and dry flower. Bitter and balanced. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) New Glarus Pilsner
: Great German Pils Battle. Fair State drinks well as usual. Balanced and one of the best. New Glarus surprised me with this. It's yeastier, softer, but also more bitter. Probably due to Fair State being 6 months out and New Glarus was fresh off the block. I'll have to repeat this one at some point. Both are very similar though and fantastic.

At the end of the day I discovered a big mistake I made on a project at work. I need a beer bad.

Question to the Heady drinkers today: why are you pouring it? I recall the one time I drank it in both a glass and the can at the same time and found it much better from the can. Have you found a different comparison? Just curious.

Haven't had a Heady in quite a few months, but last year I did a heads up comparison to can and glass. I will say the in-the-can was better, but it was a fine line.

I doubt I’ll ever see those. But i also never thought Heady would be on the shelves anywhere

Beer tastes better from the glass to me in every instance I can think of. But it’s all placebo. Bottled stouts taste better than canned ones to me

A beer I picked up in Colorado at the recommendation of the guy showing me around.

Not sure what a “West Coast Pilsner” is but this is pretty good. It’s not really either a German or Czech/Bohemian style but it is definitely tasty. Cheers all!

I've been in a cabin in a lake with no cell coverage, a cooler of beers, and stuff to read and downloaded videos for the last week. Can recommend.
