    1) Equilibrium Cosmic Proportions (8.0% canned 3/2/23): A NEIPA from NY with Omega yeast, Nelson, Citra, HBC586 for flavors of ripe oranges, sweet pineapple, and sweet green apple and grape with some notes of lime. Heavy, juicy, and sweet.
    versus
    2) Equilibrium Ocean Vibes (8.0% canned 5/11/23): A NEIPA from NY with Citra, Idaho 7, Galaxy, Sabro lactose for flavors of orange, guava, pineapple, with some peach and mango creamsicle. Leans smooth and dry. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Equillibrium Cosmic Proportions
: Another EQ NEIPA battle. Ocean Vibes is fresh off the block with some great hop combiations of Idaho 7 for the classic mango flavors with a bit of Sabro to give it some green guava and pine. Excellent as usual for EQ. Still, I'm going back to Cosmic Proportions from March which is even better. The Nelson gives it a bit of the vinous and lime notes to take it to the next level. Two bangers.

5/2023 which was disappointing, but I think the BB date is 6 months from bottling rather than a year so if bottled 11/2022, still much fresher than the Veltins which was 2/2022. These German Imports can be tough.

Jack DeJohnette will be 80 years old, come August. Lets see if I have enough albums with him, I might be able to play straight till the actual date ha.

    Odell IPA in the glass.

    1) Pilsner Urquell (4.4%): The true Czech Pils that has buttery and salty flavors of diacetyl atop the bread malt. Smooth, salty, lightly bready.

One of the most flavorful and drinkable Pilsners out there. The authenticity, flavors, and drinkability are perfect. A beer class of its own.

I think the freshest German beer I was able to get was already three months old. It sucks but they do hold up well.

I was having a nice Trop moment when this doe showed up. My house is in the middle of our subdivision, but the deer don't care. They show up like they own the place. I don't mind except the stinkers keep eating my flowers! :frowning2:
