What beer are you drinking now? #3898

Back at my house after a nice visit with my brother and his wife…a dinner prep beer to kick off the evening - “More Galaxy Than All Galaxy”, now sitting on the glider:



I’ve really liked this beer but it’s 10.5% has grown a bit sharp now that it’s a few weeks older. A cool, passing rains kinda day…currently 73°… I’m going to fire up the grill and finish off the burgers and corn; and, of course, drink a beer or two. Cheers from South Charleston WV y’all!

You know the rules about pairing beers from there with American songs. Normally local bands are required, but it is Midsummer Eve. There are no rules.

Thank you, sir! I am currently in a state where FW is distributed, so I will be on the hunt for their beers!

 

It is tiring but the orthopedic doc visit today was good. She still cannot put weight on it or walk so the wheelchair is getting a lot of miles on it. I am relearning skills from long ago like cooking and washing clothes.

 

Mine isn't super fresh either but it still retains good level of hop flavor. I certainly haven't seen any 12oz packs for quite some time.

Meanwhile, it's hard not to have another Summerfest.

Next up is a Stone Enjoy by 7-4-23 Heady style, from the can!

Giant Moves. An imperial amber ale and a tasty one at that. A collaboration between another localish brewery-Workhorse Brewing and Giant Food Stores. Me thinks this is more Workhorse than Giant. Cheers!

Happy Friday evening! It’s been a very soggy day here in SEPA!
