Coltrane's Sound spinning. Recorded with the same band, and during the same sessions as My Favorite Things, but for some reason has never gotten its due as a great album. Probably his most underrated album, if there is such a thing.

Holy crap, NASCAR went green with wet streets, I love it! I went Very GGGreennn and it's awesome! Canned 5-5-23 so it's had time to mellow a bit, going to visit them again this month.

What do you know Dune Part 1, the Villeneuve version just landed on Hulu. I never saw that when it first came out and this is the first time I have been able to see it (like I said last week, going to see the new Wes Anderson movie was the first time in like ten years I saw a new movie in the theater ha). I was always more a Tolkien guy, but always liked the Dune books as well. Though the David Lynch version was wild and fun, but disjointed as all get out. Anyway, going to watch Dune Part 1 tonight, and then maybe actually go to TWO new movies in a year when part 2 comes out later. I'm also interested in the Nolan Oppenheimer movie, so is that going to be THREE in one year?

Anyway, might be back later tonight, might not, will see...

Hop Butcher Halogen Farmed Fresh DIPA (Strata, Simcoe, Vic Secret, Ekuanot, HBC-586, Citra). They threw all the hops at this one, which I typically find doesn't make the beer any better than just utilizing a few varietals and ends up giving off a muddled hop character. That's somewhat the case here, although I do get strawberry, passionfruit, grapefruit zest, yellow grapefruit, pineapple, rose water, and resinous pine. There's a welcomed dry and bitter finish, which doesn't always show up with HB DIPA's. Great stuff!
