    Thanks, mate! I think my liver is cursing me about now...

    Some more beers to round off the day. First, Hell @Ambrosanium, just a small one here because I was about to pop from the 1.5l I'd drunk at Spezial plus the massive roast pork dish I'd knocked over.

    My longtime dearest friend is moving to Nuremberg from the US and the lucky bastard and his wife are going to go apartment hunting this weekend. He’s already told me his number one priority is making it to Oktoberfest!

    As for me, I’ve dipped into the Paulaner pack I got from Costco but currently am working on this. It’s surprisingly good and tastes like an actual beer

    I would definitely recommend it for the beer. The serving ladies weren't very friendly, and my charming pidgin German didn't seem to impress them, but they've probably seen a million tourists ask for die bier rather than das bier, and it probably gets old!

    Mate, Brauerei Spezial in Bamberg was open at 10am today on a Sunday, so who are we to decide that 10.30am is too early? Mind you, the kitchen didn't open until 1130, so maybe there's that...

    Canned 9/29/22. Poured at 52°. No fall off of flavors at almost 1 year old. Rich and bourbon boozy (14.8%), just the way I like my BBA impy stouts.

    Steamy hot outside already this morning. I’ve plenty to do, and I just don’t feel like doing any of it…Cheers and have a great day y’all!
