Fun to watch. I know he's been talking about it for a couple of years, and finally pulled the trigger.

Last appraised at $560K, but was too small as a 2nd (lake house) home. Can't wait to see what replaces it.

It's really the ideal way to renovate!

Great Lakes Christmas Ale (7.5%): A Winter Warmer from Ohio that has flavors of iced gingerbread cookie, caramel, bread, and light chocolate notes.

Bringing back another Holiday Ale and finally one of the better ones. It's a bit bigger, warmer, but amazing flavors of fresh bread, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. All rounded out by a sweet gingerbread and vanilla icing flavor. This is really the only holiday beer that makes me think of Christmas. Also, condolences to @BeerVikingSailor today.

I'd rank the Holiday beers today:
1) Great Lakes Christmas Ale: See above
2) Alaskan Winter Ale: Nice spruce tip flavors and smooth.
3) Sam Adams Winter Ale: I think this was remastered since 2019, but still fairly tame.

Going to enjoy these and getting ready to watch an epic NFL MNF game tonight.

Snagged my favorite winter warmer this weekend. Tom (@CarolinaCardinals) is familiar with this one. Highland Brewing's Cold Mountain Spiced Winter Ale 5.9% ABV. A georgeous looking beer with its clear brilliant deep ruby color and frothy off white head that lingers forever. Dark fruit and nutty notes with cinnamon accent. This one disappears pretty quick of the shelves every year. Wonderful beer! Cheers!
