This one is rather impressive.

 

Having another Jai Alai because why the heck not, right?

Odell IPA and a slice of pepperoni pie at Ball Arena. Taking a break from football for the Nuggets-Pacers game. Cheers....

 

Having a Tiger Lily DIPA while working on making some eggplant Parmesan for dinner. Pretty time consuming process but will be well worth it in the end. Making everything from scratch.

1) Phase Three DDH Unchecked Imagination (7.8% canned 11/28/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Moteuka and Citra for flavors of orange citrus, tangerine, faint green and floral notes. Clean and dry
versus
2) Phase Three Phase Of Fog (8.0% canned 12/5/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic for flavors of orange citrus, tropical berries, melon, and some dankness. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Winner:
1) Phase Three DDH Unchecked Imagination:. Phase Three NEIPA Battle and these are two of my favorites from them recently. First, Unchecked Imagination which has a nice addition of Moteuka to the Citra. Lots of smooth orange with some hints of lime and tropical sweetness. It's soft, smooth, but very complex and dynamic.
Next is Phase of Fog. All Mosaic hops. Very impressive. It has a bit more of that dank, floral note than Unchecked Imagination making it not quite as smooth. I thought this was going to be the winner.
Overall, these are the two best ones from Phase Three I've had recently. I think Unchecked Imagination gets the win for being slightly more smooth and drinkable. Another day blessed with two great Phase Three IPAs.
