Leaving for a week’s vacation in Phoenix to visit Little O, Mrs O and I are at the Admiral’s Club in Terminal 3 at O’Hare, AKA a little slice of traveler heaven. This is Anti-Hero from Revolution Brewing, a long-time favorite WCIPA of mine.

I’m so happy I could cry.

Atlanta beer cation day two. A smooth nitro brown ale.

 

Just 4 blocks from me is Second District and I love coming here on my day off.

To start is their Entwife: a rye dark mild on nitro! So smooth at 3.4 percent ABV!!

 

These 12oz cans are puny (see multiple prior threads on 12oz vs. 16oz discussions)…another IPA on the balcony:

Hop Butcher Super Beer Shuffle (Simcoe, Rakau, Amarillo). Classic HB soft feel with a hop character that brings grapefruit sorbet, pineapple, dried mango slices, ripe apricot, some lime, and some pine. Always nice to come back to a HB hazy here and there.

 

Confirming @LesDewitt4beer about a week ago my brother took this shot of me while we played croquet in February (beer in hand of course). Today's beverage:
