After peeling and dicing a dozen different radishes and beets, my wife gave me two packs of Jerusalem artichokes! Lucky me, I had to brush, clip and diced them! It took me longer to do them than everything else combined! But, like other things from Jerusalem, they give magical powers to those who brush them, clip them and dice them, so now I am having a magical drink!

Haha nice to see it over there. I'm about 30 minutes from the brewery. They have a lovely tap yard.

These are Jerusalem artichokes, a completely different animal, more brutal work than a regular artichoke! They look more like McDonald’s recently made golden French fries after brushing (color wise). But, yeah I love regular artichokes, those are awesome and considerably less prep work time. Cheers!

Another doppelbock. My mission to try more imports continues. I've been in the craft beer game for almost 15 years and yet there are still classics like this one that I've yet to try. I must remedy the situation.
