    Moved on to another Roaring Table Brewing Co beer. This one is a DIPA, similarly packaged two days ago. Love their 'California-style' DIPAs and this one is no exception. Raising it to Oliver.

    When I turned 21 my friend would take me to this jazz club downtown OKC. I loved it's smokey, boozy, musical retreat. Your music always reminds of good times!

    Pondaseta Pale Aura — kind of a weird boi, this one. There’s a bit of a bubblegum note to the fruitiness of this hazy. It’s not bad at all, just … an odd duck.

    It has been so long since I’ve had a fresh Abyss that I don’t even know how to answer this question. It definitely still packs quite a punch and has all the dark roasty chocolatey complexity I look for in this beer, plenty of boozy heat too. I think I’ve had these bottles continuously refrigerated for almost their entire existence, so that has probably helped to preserve it. I currently have one each of 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017—guess I stopped buying them after that. At some point not too far off in the future I’ll have depleted my “cellar” completely and will need to start all over.
