What beer are you drinking now? #4151

Cellar pull, I know but I’m posting here. This is a 2021 bottle. Zero carbonation. Pitch black. Bitter coffee smell. Sweet green peppers( not a bad thing) and coffee, barrel is more background and that’s ok. Once upon a time I loved this beer. With age it’s good but not what I remember. I refuse to pay the price being asked today so I will now live in my memories once this is gone. Dont think I have more.

My day started out sucky when my friend Tim couldn't join me on my beer road trip to New Ulm. I decided to change up plans and do a solo west/central Minnesota trip. I was finishing up a beer at Foxhole Brewing in Wilmar when he called in a bit of a panic - his wife collapsed in their bedroom, and her heart stopped. I high tailed it back here to get him to the hospital, where she passed away a couple hours ago. It's a good thing I was only an hour away.
I raise this glass to his late wife.
