Good record! I got to see Sparklehorse live in St. Pete, FL.,. they opened, killed it, then came a very young Avril Lavigne, Dishwalla, and headliners were Live.,. interesting lineup and a cool outdoor festival show.,.

I just loaded that album into the Apple Music queue. Thanx & Cheers!

Watching the end of the UConn Marquette game. Rooting for UConn since Marquette failed me on Saturday. Up 1.2 - 1.5 units depending on who wins. I bet both sides and come out ahead either way #thanksprofitboosts.

Went to Total Wine today and they had so many beers I wanted to buy that were well beyond their age. Glad I went in and didn't place an online order. On the flip side I did find a Peche Mortel from 2022. They had 2 but I only bought one since I'm not sure how it's aged in a retail environment.

Another pickup from today and probably the only beer tonight is a Kuhnhenn White Devil Imperial White Ale. Never had this one before but it's damn good. Tastes like a Witbier and clocks in at 9%. Dangerous.

    Good luck, Russ. :heavymetal:
~15 years ago, the boss-emeritus(Art McL) went in for that (@68?) . Doc opened him up, took one look , & said no-go. He had fallen through a greenhouse roof, (while repairing cracked glass**) & quickly reacted, & went spread-eagle, to prevent worse injury. (He was ~6'4"/260lb)
I separated rt shoulder, long ago, playing JHS football, before Tommy John surgery was available to us peons. Have re-injured it many times. Given Art M.'s experience, (& the presumed expense) I haven't explored any surgery.
Again, good luck! Hope it works out. :beers:

If run-of-the-mill AALs were this good... (I probably wouldn't be here, but that's another story....) , I would get them more often.
New one from Beer Tree, & is apparently going to be a new flagship for them. Good choice! :+1:

The corn smell normally turns me off, sometimes to the point of nausea, but here, it smells wonderful. (As I say in the review...) It smells a lot like Grandma W.'s corn pudding, made fresh, from freshly-harvested corn*. In the taste, it's a light, complimentary element, not the dominant flavor.

    * Grandpa W. , despite multiple strokes, and phlebitis in his left leg, always made sure to have some corn growing. (I helped when I could) Even (as my late dad often noted) if it took him 1/2day/row, he always got enough in, in a succession of varieties, to last all summer, & put enough away to last til next year's harvest.

** A couple times, I was close, when cracked glass slid down, & off greenhouses. The edges were rough, & unfinished, so very sharp. Imagine an out-of-control cabbage slicer, ambushing you, by surprise. :astonished::grimacing::smile:

I though this was a house beer here, but it turns out it’s widely distributed in the Midwest.

They have the dunkel for 5$ here. After my last weihenstephener though, it's hard to justify. Damn good, but better options... Though no one does lager like Germany , sorry bohemia.
