• @tasterschoice62 - Really sorry to hear about your restaurant, especially after your explanation that they put in a lot of recent work which means it was likely not intentional as some of these (at least in Chicago when business is bad) happen to be. Looking forward to continuing to read about your remaining life and beer journey, and wishing you all the best in your next adventure. I have really enjoyed your conversations here over the years.

• @jzeilinger - Co-sign on your SNL comments last night. Haven't watched beyond a few clips for a very long time. The First Five years was their peak, though several solid to great performers have come after.

I have a Condo meeting tonight, so there is a good chance I come back later tonight, but wanted to pregame with this one. I should clear my drink fresh stock of beer before Summer, as long as I don't succumb to temptation including the recent drop of a favorite IPA.

Added an extra night/day to my Philly trip because 56 hours was not going to cut it.

 

Gnosis Golden 12 Czech Premium Lager. Bready malts with a floral and slightly spicy hop character. Crisp and clean. Solid stuff.

 

Having one of these. Meh.

 

It's been a while since I've had my "House Beer". Maybe too many recent trips to Tree House. This can is a little over 1-week old and it's great.

 

50F here. Above av winter and then some. Plus I don't want my hand to get cold

The Ohio Players probably sold as many albums for their cover art as they did for their music.

 

Gnosis Fertile Green DIPA (Amarillo/Mosaic). Orange peel, mango flesh and skin, herbaceous dankness, kumquat, apricot, yellow grapefruit, some guava, earthiness, resinous pine. Pretty dry throughout with a firm bitterness. I really dig this. I feel like Gnosis is dialing in their hoppy stuff.

 

Dogfish Head 60 min.
Out for wings tonight and that was the most desirable option. Not my first choice to have with Suicide wings, but it'll just have to do.

Feck it. Time for an IPA. Hop Valley Stash Bandicoot Hazy Imperial IPA. Guess I'm not through rating! If you like Imp IPAs, everything about this beer is super. Cheers BAs!

 

I can say that's pretty true as a teen growing up in the 70s.

Also, the thrill of sneaking peeks at the nudie mags at the local convenience store when they got busy.
