Regent American Red on the engine at Cellar West. It's very smooth and hoppy and a style you don't see much of anymore. I like it! Cheers.....:beers:

    No patio action here today.:flushed:

Armed with a pleasantly snappy & bready Schell's Deer Brand Lager that will ward off many and a 1 oz shot glass necklace, I'm ready to do the 1 shot per minute beer. When I was a kid my buddies and I would get a case of any beer and do this for 60:00 :stuck_out_tongue: I had the stopwatch we used for years after until my ex-wife took off with it. Ready....Cheers!!

The storm is here, my pupper is hiding behind the couch as is his safe space ha (it will be a bad night for him cause I'll be yelling during the Illinois/OSU BTT game, he hates that as well ha).

It is like the dead of night right now...Guinness Extra Stout and Van Morrison will help on this gloomy afternoon.

And it will be my Fighting Illini against The Buckeye's in the Big Ten Tourny coming up soon, should be back after that

    What's up, LeBar-peepz?

Now enjoying an ORB SOAKED TIPA, a very unwise move after some snow shovel activities. Ended up with about 18-20" with melt accounted for, and with Lill throwing serious shade at this much of the Jesus cocaine.

Soaked is a nice light 11% TIPA, with Riwaka, Citra, and Styrian Golding in the hop bill. Couple months old now but holding on nicely because of all the booze. I can't be in Chicago for what I would designate NAVAJA RELEASE day, so I had to do my own version. (sad).

    Cheers!

Mark Knopfler’s new special recording of his anthemic ‘Going Home (Theme From Local Hero)’, produced by his longtime collaborator Guy Fletcher (who has edited the contributions into a 9 minute piece), features an unprecedented line-up of some of the greatest guitarists in history. ‘Legendary’ does not begin to cover it - David Gilmour to Ronnie Wood, Slash to Eric Clapton, Sting to Joan Armatrading, Bruce Springsteen to Pete Townshend, Nile Rodgers to Joan Jett, Brian May to Tony Iommi, Joe Walsh, Sam Fender and many more jaw dropping names.

And, in a great honour, the track opens with Jeff Beck’s final recording. Roger Daltrey, Teenage Cancer Trust’s Honorary Patron and co-founder of Teen Cancer America (with Pete Townshend), added harmonica, and Beatles icon Ringo Starr is on drums along with his son Zak Starkey, their two drum tracks switching from one to the other, revealing an unmistakable family style.

Sting completes an extraordinary rhythm section on bass. With artwork designed by Sir Peter Blake (The Beatles, The Who, Band Aid, Paul Weller etc), this release is a landmark in rock music history.

    Full list of contributors:

Joan Armatrading, Jeff Beck, Richard Bennett, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Brown, James Burton, Jonathan Cain, Paul Carrack, Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder, Jim Cox, Steve Cropper, Sheryl Crow, Danny Cummings, Roger Daltrey, Duane Eddy, Sam Fender, Guy Fletcher, Peter Frampton, Audley Freed, Vince Gill, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Keiji Haino, Tony Iommi, Joan Jett, John Jorgenson, Mark Knopfler, Sonny Landreth, Albert Lee, Greg Leisz, Alex Lifeson, Steve Lukather, Phil Manzanera, Dave Mason, Hank Marvin, Brian May, Robbie McIntosh, John McLaughlin, Tom Morello, Rick Nielsen, Orianthi, Brad Paisley, Nile Rodgers, Mike Rutherford, Joe Satriani, John Sebastian, Connor Selby, Slash, Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr and Zak Starkey, Sting, Andy Taylor, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, Ian Thomas, Pete Townshend, Keith Urban, Steve Vai, Waddy Wachtel, Joe Louis Walker, Joe Walsh, Ronnie Wood, Glenn Worf, Zucchero.

Love the idea of the bar, but I hope @Todd puts this back on the main page so it’s easily accessed by a phone.

Deep, dark brown pour, appears opaque black in the glass; dense, thick head, khaki hued with a creamy texture cratered with small carbonation holes and sporting a sculpted volcano dome in the middle; slowly recedes to a thinner yet still dense and creamy version of its original state. Very nice smell; coffee and dark roasted grains primarily; mocha. Fantastic taste; vanilla and milk chocolate with a thin coffee underpinning; vanilla; coffee bitterness. Heavy, silky body; dense and viscous; residual sweetness offset with a mildly dry bitterness.

A very fine coffee and vanilla oatmeal stout, decadently smooth and lush on the palate and sporting a beer buzz friendly 5.5% ABV.

...although my favorite track from this Sun Ra album is 'Priest', this one is pretty spiffy, too...
