I love Vienna Lager. Kind of annoys me few breweries in GA make one anymore.

Hello thirsty ones. I'll be having 2 TG Munich Weiss Hefeweizen Ale cans for this old glass... I believe to be from a Ground Round restaurant. Yikes! Darn good beer from TG. I wish they would lower their prices a buck or 2. Cheers!!

All right people, it’s Friday afternoon, I’m done with work, I’ve got my funk playlist on, and it’s a balmy 66 degrees out on the patio. Time to move the party outside. Cheers!

TRVE Brewing Co. Tunnel Of Trees IPA. Colorado drinking like @eppCOS and @beergoot with this new to me beer/brewery. A pleasant balance of slightly herbal and mildly bitter hops with a full malty body. Very drinkable for 7%! I noticed a date code on the top of the label but the month is smudged. Too comfy in my chair to check the other cans but it tastes very fresh to me! I'll have to try some other brews from them. Thanks guys for further stretching my beer budget!:money_mouth::beers:

    1) Hop Butcher Mirror Ball (7.5% canned 1/2/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial for flavors of orange, sweet berries, grapes, and sweet pine. Smooth and sweet.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Presto Change-O (7.5% canned 2/7/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Simcoe for flavors of mixed berries, juicy pineapple, and sweet pine. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Hop Butcher Mirror Ball:
Friday evening Hop Butcher IPA Battle. It's a close one. First is Mirror Ball. A bit older and my last of the batch. This has grown on me. Standard Citra, Mosaic, Centennial. The Centennial gives some stonefruit and slight west-coast resiny pine flavors which adds a nice twist.
Next is Presto Change-O. These two are extremely similar and I couldn't identify them correctly blindly. Mosaic and Simcoe here, which is always a good combo. Extremely similar and nearly identical, but this seems to have less flavor. Mirror Ball gets the slight win here.

...I believe 'Tunnel of Trees' was one of their earlier IPA offerings and kind of showed up hit or miss in the Springs...now, it seems like they offer a lot of WCIPA beers, generally all good...I'll have to try Tunnel of Trees again soon to see how it compares with their newer beers...

Here's a blast from the past. I found one of these at Whole Foods. No date, and diluted hop bote, but good nostalgia.

Grabbed a 4pk of that this week, will probably give it the NBW treatment this weekend. I didn't see Sunny Ridge this year in northern VA, so hoping the beer you are drinking is a successful replacement for a beer I really like (considerably more than the average BA rater, at least).

It has been years since I've had this big boy and it's as good as it's ever been, I just dislike all of Founders new labels.
