    True story, when Troegs made this year round. I got a hold of it smelled it, and wondered who put all the mango into my beer? This always has heavy rotation in my fridge.

    Trying out a new beer tonight, sharing it with the wife. It looked too good in the store, and even though it's received mediocre reviews, there have only been a couple dozen, so I figured I'd give it a try.

    Looks great so far. Let's get her top off and see how she performs! Errr, the beer.

    Man, great head (in for a penny, in for a pound, I suppose). Good looking beer; I apologize for the flash washing out the brew itself, but damned if it doesn't make that bottle look good.

    The smell is a little strong on the mint; smells a little like used chewing gum. Taste is much the same: the mint overpowers, and instead of enhancing the brew, really does a disservice to the rest of the otherwise tasty stout flavors. Shame. At least the wife thinks it's pretty good.

    Well, at least my breath is fresh, now.
