I lived in Fort Erie in the late 80s. We went back to Toronto a couple of years ago and I was flabbergasted at how big that city and its environs have become. Amazing growth but still a lovely city. Cheers.

Good morning, afternoon, evening, or whatever it is wherever you are! Our tour began in earnest today: a visit to the Aeropagus, the Parthenon, and Mars Hill in Athens this morning, followed by a tour of the ruins in Corinth this afternoon. In between, lunch at a little sandwich & coffee shop in Isthmou featuring Pils Hellas. This has to be one of the most beautiful beers I've ever seen, a welcome sight indeed after fighting those crowds in the near-100° heat.

A little collage of some photos from today's adventure. The Parthenon is such an awe-inspiring structure no matter where you view it from. I liked this viewpoint because it accentuates its imposing presence. It also seems to be the only spot on the entire Acropolis where you can get a picture without a bunch of clowns with selfie sticks in the way. Yes, I'm old.
