1) BlackStack Spinning Plates (8.2% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Nectaron, El Dorado, Mosaic & HBC 586 for flavors of tropical orange, grape, lychee, pineapple, and mango.
versus
2) Definitive Brewing Particles (8.3% no canning date): A NEIPA from Maine with Citra, Simcoe, and Topaz for flavors of ripe fruit orchards, kiwi peels, and lemon sorbet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner: BlackStack Spinning Plates
DIPA Battle. First is BlackStack Spinning Plates. Some tropical notes from the Mosaic and HBC 586. Pineapple, mango, melon, berries, and grape. Fantastic as usual from BlackStack.
Next is Definitive Brewing from Maine. I haven't had as much from them and found this on Tavour. The Topaz gives it the unique flavor here. Strong flavors of tropical peach, lychee, guava, and Asian fruits. A slight bite off the end.
Both are outstanding and I'd rate 90+ on BeerAdvocate.

 

NBW and ISAT cross-post. Timber Ales Fields of Fall. An imperial stout with pumpkin, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon. Which sounds scrumptious. 12% ABV. I planned to drink this beer on this date the moment I saw it on the nightstand of my hotel room, after apparently being abducted by aliens the night before, since I had no memory of the previous evening. Either the aliens left this beer for me, or one of many BAs I was with that weekend, intentionally or unintentionally, left it for me. My guess is it could have been given to me by @Whyteboar, @Blogjackets, or @DoctorZombies, but there are other candidates who it could have been. Please note the absolutely perfect piece of art @Jaycase created that I will use for my avatar going forward. I provided the inspiration during last Saturday's epic WBAYDN thread, and he created a masterpiece. Last Saturday was one of the best WBAYDN threads ever. With summer coming to an end, college football, and the Oktoberfest beer tasting thread, let's make this thread epic! RIP to Juan Brujo, the legendary leader of the mysterious narco-grindcore cartel/band, Brujeria.
