Comparing different takes on bourbon-barrel RIS:

Honestly, I prefer the St-Ambroise. My first sip of each had me thinking Bourbon County was better, but after a couple more it just seemed too sweet, while St-Ambroise develops some really interesting complexity (and is not at all sweet—hoppy, roasty, bitter instead).

Hadda pick some of this up again, having had Hop Ranch this past week. Very different beers, and DirtWolf is more my style. Maybe it's a wolf thing?

Winter Storm Hercules, eh? We just gotta name everything these days - makes it more exciting, I suppose ...

After a week off work, returning to the office was shitty to say the least. Happy to get home and enjoy a beer. Cheers!

"hunkering down" with a sexy Hibernation Ale by Great Divide. This is A.) in my top ten all time, B.) Top 3 winter releases, C.) Perfect for the current weather situation, D.) Well balanced flavors, I could probably enjoy it on a beach as well. Great brew but I waitied for a night like this to grab it up this season. The weather just matches in jersey, severe blizzards a'coming

Didn't start dumping snow in the Philly area until a few hours ago, but it piled up quick! Some Sucks to keep me warm while watching season 6 of Lost with my girl.

Watching the snow come down for the second time today; lovely. Also my first attempt at a "pour shot." Yeah, it probably didn't work, but the beer deserves the effort:

The finished product is nothing less than gorgeous. What a great way to get me going tonight.

Moving on, I'm revisiting a beer with an intimidating name, but wonderful nose and flavor.

I have a feeling more will follow tonight.

My sister gave me a couple albums for Christmas; L'Enfant Sauvage was one of them. Cheers!
