What beer are you drinking now? #4405

I've never seen the cans, but would purchase if found and somehow if also fresher than the bottles I get. Their 12pk cardboard containers are thick and completely enclosed, so light-struck/skunk is not an issue.

Don't remember exactly when I first had Urquell, prolly in the 90s, but it was too "bitter" for my tastes then, especially as a lager. Now I think it's essentially perfect.

Minnesota must be a test ground for a lot of beer ideas...Urquell came out in cans here a few years ago. I've also seen people writing about whales/unavailable beers that are common here...

To be fair, I tried Urquell initially when it was in green bottles. Haven't had them since they switched to brown. Not sure if the pandemic caused major skunking with port delays, but cans seems to be quite common here, they're sold in 4 packs.

The one that was skunked, I believe was at a beer bar who sold expired beer if you weren't paying attention. Good bar, just didn't keep track of what they had (I got served beers that were a year+ expired). If you caught it, they gave it to you and you could reorder; most of the time, it was a drain pour due to the age. Anyway, their cooler had glass windows, coupled with the lighting probably didn't do it any favors.

Drinking on gas station beer today. Anything will do. I'ma vent a hair my ex started coming around again lately and it's stressful AF I'm not going to lie. Seeing a lot of the behavior that caused our down fall. Kinda sad to watch but helps me reach more clarity/understanding onit.

Thanks!! Oh yes, black dog is most thankful, he's my snuggler. Tan dog used to snuggle but doesn't much anymore. I believe she has turned into part cat. Anyway, having a dog come and lay on your lap or sleeping next to you in bed and letting out a big sigh makes it all worth it. I'm sure you know, rescue dogs know they've been rescued - you can't convince me otherwise.

How old are your GSPs? Are they hunters? Man, those are smart dogs! They also crack me up, they are so much fun - their expressions get me every time!

 

Grilling in the dark is tough. It’s really hard to see how things are progressing. At least the beer is top notch!

We don’t hunt. My oldest is 7 and he runs with my wife and catches frizbees. Youngest is 4 and is a cuddler and squirrel chaser. Like you said they are full of personality!! Yours look like mostly German Shepherds, I know they are great dogs!!
