Happy chilly Sunday BAs, and happy December 1st! Need to get moving on some holiday shopping soon, I suppose!

This is a tasty holiday brew....I like it!

 

Happy Sunday and 1st day of December BA's! 4.5 mile walk in the 45 degree air complete and laundry going. Kicking it off with a Hopslam for lunch prep. We have cold, for here, low 30 degree nights most of this week with sun and near 60's in the afternoons, perfect for me.

Good morning BAs! Stayed up late drinking with new friends, so slept in this morning. Dogs walked and fed, it’s time for a new breakfast beer - BCB Macaroon Stout:



Bottled 8/15/24. Poured at 57°. Black Friday purchase. Coconut/bourbon nose. Sweet macaroon taste. Too sweet? Working on notes for NBW.

Lovely 60° sunny weather now, dogs roaming the backyard while I sip and write in my beer log book, as the breeze gently rattles the chimes…

I wanted something different and I haven't had Torpedo in a long time so I picked up the mixed 12 pack of Torpedos this morning. Lunch is simmering on the stove so I'm enjoying this "Pacific" Torpedo while waiting. This is pretty good methinks ..

 

Rolling up and putting away hurricane shutters this morning, with an assist from Fat Head’s “Head Hunter” IPA:



The temp has risen to 62° on the patio…absolutely lovely morning. When I get done here, I’ll head over to my buddy’s house - he got a case of IPA delivered from Burial today, and a case of IPA from Other Half…when it rains it pours!

Yup my pathetic broke ass still snagged a few treats yesterday. Going to savor this $25 bottle a good portion of the afternoon. I will say it is insanely complex and amazingly crafted.

 

Central Waters French Toast Stout, a Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout with Maple, Vanilla & Cinnamon. Cheers, BAs!
