Yep. Sneaking a beer before the end of the workday. This Friday has been a rare quiet one. Hope it stays that way. Prost BAs!

Black Noir from Hogna Brygg (Norway). Tasty warming stout.
Outside it is -9°C (or 15,8°F) and I'm not going anywhere tonight.
    Cheers

Good afternoon BAdvocates. I’m sipping on a North Coast Pranqster Belgian style Pale. Really like this beer and very glad I picked up a four pack.
    Cheers all!

This is tasting very good after the last Friday of work for the year. The last can I had wasn't really impressing me as much as Wookey Jack has over the past two years. Mildly creamy with the rye spice pushing through that before a somewhat pine woody bitterness joins the party.

Keep forgetting about this mini keg of Breckenridge oktoberfest in the beer fridge (had set it aside for when the family was in town, but we never got around to drinking it :grimacing:). Time to put it out of its misery..

Grabbed this shot while taking Hadley to school this morning..

Temps are dropping off the table in N. GA. You guys up north of me left the backdoor to Canada open. 65°F yesterday. Headed into the mid-20°F's tonight. Just remembered I need to go check the MiL house tonight. A Trappistes treat on Friday before Christmas. Chimay Red 7%. I wish that was my view right now.

In Champaign, IL visiting family...well at the moment in Savoy at Triptych Brewing.

Their Czech Lager is first. Really well done, this is an excellent lager, and on a slow pour thingy.

Next up a cask English Bitter. This is very nice, not my favorite version of a cask Bitter, but it is quality and always appreciate when an American brewery can make a quality version of this on cask. Even if its not my personal favorite.

Last up from Triptych is Smoked, a pale Rauchbeir, and this is excellent. This might be my favorite smoked lager from an American brewery. Riggs is a great German style brewery in Urbana, actually one of the breweries that I hold as the standard for German styles in America. They made a Rauchbier a little while ago, but I haven't had a chance to try it, as the timing for me is never right coming up. They make it as a seasonal I think, anyway would love to try that as well but glad two breweries in my home "towns" Champaign/Urbana/Savoy are doing these.

OK, niece and nephew's coming over in a minute...might be back later I don't know, will see?
