So, I once went to an event several years ago, and the guest speaker announced she had a "white elephant" gift, i.e., something that she had never been able to give away since she had come into possession of it many years before. She finally revealed it to be a copy of sheet music for The Little Drummer Boy, and I almost proposed to her then and there. That song is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Linguine alla Vongole for dinner. Mrs is on some fkd up diet but I'm starting to realize I'm going to be on the same after the new year. It's prob going to be including to stop drinking beer unfortunately. I never make NYs resolutions this is something I've been planning for awhile. The pasta was chic pea pasta so that indicates my direction. Actually it was way better than I expected. Being someone that's been influenced and cooking Mediterranean style for at least 40 yrs that's saying something. It's hard but I will see it through.
