Good morning BAs! Some kitchen chores done…lazy morning…starting with my last 2024 BCBS variant - Cask Finish Bardstown BBA Imperial Stout:



Bottled 25Sept24. Poured at 50°. Strong cherry nose. Cherry and rye whiskey taste. Barrel notes overwhelm the whole. I’m underwhelmed. Sipping and taking notes for NBW.

Bright sunshine and 62° … I sat outside for a bit, it’s quite nice in the sun. My beer buddy has invited me over to watch today’s games. I may stay home and drink beer Cheers y’all and have superb Sunday!

I wish that beer was available in the US. I believe it was once available in a Guinness mixed pack but has since disappeared and can't be found - at least not to my knowledge. Cheers!

ps-My neighbor across the street tried to hang an Eagles flag up, slipped on the icy steps, and knocked his head, hopefully it put some sense in him!

ps-Oh, by the way, he’s still laying out there, hopefully he wakes up before the start of the game, although with the thread starting times being changed (not to mention wrong #’s everywhere), he probably is confused, not sure why, as he is not a beer drinker (the heathen!).
