Was going to take some ibuprofen, but thankfully I remembered I have a fridge full of better tasting medicine.

    1) Phase Three Unused PTO (8.0% canned 12/16/24):
A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Strata for flavors of grapefruit and lime citrus, zesty white grape, peach, and floral notes.
    versus
    2) Drekker Buttons Aren’t Toys (8.2%): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Citra and Simcoe for flavors of pineapple, strawberry, and passionfruit citrus. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Phase Three vs. Drekker IPA Battle. First is Phase Three Unused PTO. Some Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Strata. Complex grapefruit, pineapple, coconut, and hints of guava and melon. Holding up amazingly well at 4 months.
Next is Drekker Buttons Aren't Real. A fresh release from Drekker. Citra and Simcoe for some smooth orange, pink grapefruit,, strawberry, and peach. Very nice, but a little sweeter and less refined.
    Winner: Phase Three Unused PTO

Blind Corner Booter Hazy IPA (Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic). My first shot at this brewery and I'm impressed. Loads of tangerine flesh and peel, spritzy grapefruit flesh and peel, some lime zest, blueberry, some yellow peach, some herbaceous dank. Slightly soft and nicely crisp. Quite dry with a subtle bitterness. Light and refreshing with a zesty hop character. Great stuff.

    Tonight's motion for dinner prep.
Southern fried chicken, baked Mac & cheese and some Creole collard greens with copious amounts of bacon.
I'm getting too old for this.

This one always helps numb the pains. Tastes pretty good too!

If that is your photo, bravo sir. I was so sad I never saw that beer in NH. If I got to purchase a 4 pack after only having it in Bombers in the past. The Bastard Series should come back, 4 packs a reasonable price is what we want. $8 22 oz were a difficult sell. Not these. Loved that BW.

    Hey Grumpy,
As I recall, the jump the shark was a 2 episode cliff hanger. As a 4rth grader even I called bull shit on ABC. gotta love it, man!

I could see that clip every 6 months and never tire of it, lol

[IMG] Next up and not easy drinking. The brewery closed and made some good Hazys, but this way past the prime. Not sad I did it, even if many would drain pour.

I gotta be honest - I got the photo doing a basic Google search. When the beer was out in the market back in November, I got a 4 pack 16 oz cans of this for ~$16.

The beer? I actually purchased this in NYS back in November and down to my last can. I can't say for sure that it ever made it to CT - we often either get beer about 4-6 months after other jurisdictions or sometimes we don't get certain releases at all. This is a bad state to be a craft/import beer afficianado
