    ...I unusually relegate my old laptops to 'Fortress of Solitude' / travel duty and install Linux (usually Ubuntu) on them...I assume your old laptop will retain its (I assume) Windows environment configuration and serve as, well, a hot backup to your newer one...

    79* here along the Atlantic coast with a nice breeze. Also a rarity, low humidity @40%. I have no illusions as to this lasting much longer but enjoying it. Cheers VB!

    First Snow from Resident Brewing in San Diego: "A tropical winter ale brewed with coffee, vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and coconut."

    This must be a couple years old but it has been living in the cold garage or refrigerator the whole time. The flavorings are as described and are surprisingly not bad. I'd call this some kind of flavored brew rather than a Blonde Ale. I didn't realize that Resident had closed. Well, here's to a brewery that made some great IPAs and Lagers!

    Having another Focal Banger - I took @ATL6245 advice and hit it with some light ..

    Angel hair pasta with some mini-meatballs for dinner. I love making these mini meatballs, they have a lot more flavor than a big meatball and end up being delicious. Plus they're the perfect size for making a meatball sub/sandwich.

    Well, the one I was using had a hinge break so it's basically unusable now. But I had a backup laptop that I used but I've relegated that back to backup status, although, that's a really nice laptop too with an i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. But the new one has better specs with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Both have 17.3 inch displays - the new one has a 4K display so it's really clear and sharp. Cheers!!!
