While I am not a metal fan per se, I do like these guys: Trve- Skullseeker Blonde Ale with a side of Evan Williams white label.

And since we are sharing old photos and such. I found a really crappy youtube of my brother when he was living the new wave dream in the late '70s. And yes I was his roadie/sound board engineer part time for the crazy bar gigs back in the day. Ah, youth! No substitute, right?

Oh Wow! This KBS variant is one of the best! Hazelnut coffee and fudge for days. I’m going to try to find more!

...I have had some nice personal email communication with him...nothing special per se, but just a nice representation of his commitment and passion for beer brewing...I've had nothing but good experiences with purchasing HoTD stash beers since the shutdown of operations...

...he did convey that he may do a few one-offs and collaborations since shutting down HoTD...I'm thinking the 2023 'Don' is an example of this...well, perhaps something already in the works prior to the shutdown...I don't know...but I have hopes that he may follow through with something again in the not too distant future...

I like them, thanks for sharing that. They played some big league clubs. Did they get any traction at all? Guessing the lead is your brother.

    Enjoy

    At Saint Arnold.

Their Citra/Eclipse hopped Art Car in the glass.

Then a cask Elissa IPA with Fish & Chips.

I had to wait for the trains to move out of the way before I could get to my show, so what am I to do? Oh yeah, have another beer.

    H-Town Pils in the glass.

Then on over to see James Brandon Lewis, and Chad Taylor. This was so phenomenal, it is hard to put to words, but very much influenced by John Coltrane's Interstellar Space...if you know, you know.

They as a group did not, Craig moved into engineering and production. Some early big label hip hop stuff in NY. I still have big emotions for the young folks from PA that tried really hard to make it.

Here is a site I just found talking about his work.

Me and my wife made it to Seventh son. Parking wasn't bad across the street.

I got a Seventh Son Stranger Than Paradise. Awesome ipa. Lasting head retention and soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passionfruit, mango, melon, guava, red berries, citrus peel/rind, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Medium-high pine, citrus rind, woody, spicy bitter finish. Medium carb and body. Balanced bready grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness with minimal hop astringency. Very vibrant and dank hops with a clean malt backbone. Feels like a lot of mosaic and galaxy hops. 4.13/5

Hope you are feeling well. I remember we and Compaq was a sponsor and hence VIP tickets to Sting and front row at an outdoor event in AZ. I suddenly got very sick and had to go home literally within the first 2 songs. Could it have been the vip pre concert shrimp?????

Plenty good, but struck me as coloring outside the lines, never had that much coffee. Still went down like Mother's Milk!
