Stone IPA (6.9% canned 1/27/2025): A West-coast IPA with flavors of bitter lemon, apricot, orange, and resinous pine. Bitter and resinous.

Some bitters on a Saturday afternoon.

 

Just some PBR but with some of the lupulin of yesterday's torpedos. PBR sucks a big corn-fed fat one, but they were out of high life. Happy drinking

Enjoying a 2020 edition of Appalachian Walker, an EBW from Olde Hickory. This is about the same ABV as Bigfoot but with even with all the aged versions of Bigfoot i have had this one is so soft and subtle in comparison. And yeah, i seem to recall voting for ABW's in a poll of ABW vs EBW not so long ago but it's all good!

More Quadrophenia from The Who

 

2nd time in a week for this beer, but from different sources, Once from Half-Time, and this one is from @TCgenny. Mortalis OLDMANBEARMAMA (one word, all caps). A delicsious Nelson 8 percenter.

 

From the mix 12 pack, Allagash finally gave in and made a hazy. Nothing special, good but an ubiquitous stab at a Citra forward NEIPA. Now the lager they brewed is pretty darn nice

 

Wow. As US versions of Bohemian Pilsners go, this is as good as it gets. I'd say this and Green Bench's Pohlednice are about even. Na zdraví!

 

Jai Alai with some fresh oysters that will be grilled in a bit.

Ayinger Maibock while watching the Redlegs' pitching collapse. Going to the bullpen in the 4th is not the day I wanted on a Hunter Greene start.

 

Not particularly impressed with the torpedo mixed pack unfortunately but such is life. Hope all are having a nice evening.
