Bar hopping around a little bit...First up is one of my favorite spots in town, and arguably my favorite book...Under The Volcano.

With a Hafbrau Maibock in the glass. The only place in town that has this, and it is brilliant.



Then a walk down the street, just over a block...to Bailson's Brewing. Their Masinghorn IPA, which is always a nice West Cost style.

 

I little bit further on up the road is a place called Nobie's.

Schneider Weisse Hefe in the glass with some oysters.



Then a "Snapper Hash" with a poached egg, roe, caviar...

Its all really good, and the got a "Bib Gourmand" score from Michelin. Its all really well executed, I just think they had a bit more hardier and filling options before all the Michelin nonsense. And the price is ridiculous now...but oh well. Not to take away from the quality, and how good it was, but I could probably sacrifice just a tad and get way more filling enjoyment at other spots now. Tis the way it goes I guess.

 

Probably my favorite Tired Hands IPA….PUNGE
