Back at the apartment and thinking about assembling a plate of food. Until I figure that out, I’m having a Stigbergets Mellanmås from Sweden, a 5% DDH hazy. The aroma’s definitely light, but not at all bad for such a low-weight take on the style.

Right along here ba. No half measures, ddh ipa, Kills Boro brewing. Dry hopped w/ citra, strata, & simcoe. Tangy hops upfront with a juicy/ pulp feel. Rather subtle fruit notes w/ melon and peach. Nothing really pops thou. Far from anything great but I’ve had far worse,

not dated but they just hit shelves here,

 

I was going to mow the lawn, but it's just too damn windy and cold out. I'll wait for a warmer day. Every weekend it rains or is too windy and chilly - been that way for at least the last 9 weeks. Of course, as soon as the work week begins the weather gets nice - really annoying. What to do - have a beer, in this case a Berkshire Hadley Grass.

Founders CBS, 11.3% ABV, vintage 2019. I originally rated this 4.6 back in 2017. This was the oldest beer in my cellar, and it's really good. The coffee has fallen off, allowing maple syrup to steal the show. I knocked the glass over before drinking it, caught it after it spilled only 2 ounces, drenching a phone, a charger, a remote, etc.
