Taste and smell have been hit or miss with whatever sinus thing I have going on. But mostly hit right now so going after Azure, a DIPA brewed by Tree House. Cheers!

I wish we could get locally grown asparagus around here, but most of it is grown in Canada. Kind of puzzling because you would think that the markets would want to sell locally grown produce, but that's not the case. I picked up some lovely asparagus yesterday at Idylwilde farms in West Acton, but it's from Canada. That really surprised me because they really pride themselves on having the best produce around. Cheers!!

Duke Levine is much better, Duke and the Drivers was big amongst the club crowd. They were big in the coastal dance clubs, Revere, Nantasket , Marshfield, the Cape, Hampton. They did a lot of fairs. Their gimmick was they were always hoping the Duke was going to show up tonight ( there was no Duke) They also had a guy running around on stage with a bathrobe or turban or some odd ball thing. No real serious musicians or music but they had a niche.

Big fan of the can art, my neighbors used to call me and my wife wash a shores because we weren’t born on the Cape, when we moved down here. Cheers!

If you want to work in the club circuit, the biggest thing is to have a dedicated following, and they had that. I honestly do not miss playing the club circuit and dealing with the low-life club owners.

I did it for many, many years and I'm glad to be done with it. I probably wouldn't mind doing some jazz gigs, but jazz players (especially horn players) are some of the biggest pri-madonnas you'd want to meet. That's what really turned me off to jazz - the egos are out of control.

Thanks man! It was indeed outstanding. Mrs DavetotheB and I took an overnight trip to the Tree House location in Saratoga Springs NY. Absolutely beautiful facility. The beer and company were excellent as well. Cheers!

Aspect of Gemini, a Double IPA from The Butch, with Mosaic & Peacharine. This one canned a little over a week ago. So glad to have fresh Hop Butcher back at my local bottle shop. Cheers to all my fellow Geminis out there. And to June, my favorite month of the year, BA! :beers:
