From Manchester, New Hampshire. Candia Road Brewing Nepenthe Nut-Brown. 9.5% ABV. Good nutty and malty character with bitter bite and alcohol well masked

Starting out with a Widmer Brothers Chocolate Russian Imperial Stout. Not bad! Wasn't expecting much being that its from Widmer Bros., but I can dig it!

Tried a side-by-side. Both very nice, but I prefer Hop Ranch.

Tasting my first attempt at a homebrew after avoiding it for many years. Just a 1 gallon batch of Northern Brewer's Sierra Nevada knockoff. Watching the first Lethal Weapon, with #2 on deck.

Truly awful crap. If there is a market somewhere for some sort of sour, mostly tasteless, tea, then I have a future. Going to go bottle my 2nd awful homebrew now.
As Murtaugh says... I'm too old for this shit.

Got this and few other Real Ale's as trade extras. Very nice and very drinkable.

I was going to, but I don't think there's a need to drink anything else after one Bozo Beer.

Don't give up on the homebrewing, you're gonna have a couple awful batches every now and then. Then you have a good batch, and you're addicted!

    Untrue! Drink more! :grinning:

DirtWolf came back around here on LI, accompanying the arrival of Hop Ranch and facilitating side-by-sides. I didn't do a blind, but I had 'em one after the other. I'm more DirtWolf prone, but I woulda known that anyway. Really enjoyed all of Victory's "hop-strong" ales that I've had.
