TRVE Brewing Nazareth. An IIPA. Courtesy of @beergoot. The news recently broke that TRVE Brewing is closing their taprooms. This is very sad news. They make delicious beers, with incredible artwork, but most importantly to me, they were a proper heavy metal brewery, and I never had the opportunity to visit a TRVE taproom. Hammerheart Brewing had the ultimate heavy metal taproom, which closed, but I had an incredible experience there, and at least they still exist in another form. Surly Brewing used to be a great heavy metal brewery, but they have become something else. There are others, but these breweries did the heavy metal theme extremely well, and it will not be the same going forward. I will miss receiving TRVE Brewing beers from @beergoot, and I appreciate all their beers I was able to try because of him. I need your help, BA. Last night I was taking beer/fireworks pictures, when an unknown entity descended upon me, likely of a supernatural or extraterrestrial origin. It made a hideous noise as it approached, then retreated into the darkness, when it realized I was a formidable adversary. I filmed this amorphis phantasm, as it contemplated another attack. What is this that stands before me?

Hello seekers.Let the party continue throughout the weekend. The heat wave finally broke here and some rain fell overnight. For me, due to the heat, ystrdy was a wash, mildly pleasant w beers at the VB, and I did fix a plumbing issue here at home. My fingers need to ramble while I decide which beer to crack... maybe a really good day to fire up the 20 ton splitter and make starter wood for winter. A beery task indeed! But it's misting quite a bit out there. Beer 1st, decide 2nd. I'm on the fence.

Good morning BA’s!!

Slight hangover from yesterday’s festivities (who thought moonshine was a good idea???), but nothing that this local favorite Manhattan Project - Hoppenheimer won’t fix. Maybe I’ll get the energy to go buy breakfast burritos next. Stupid kitchen remodel.

 

Following up on my earlier post, as I want to show the brew poured, and the can, bookending a black and white postcard of a Moderately Famous Person. The 6.3% Cruising Through the Galaxy Hazy IPA and 4.7% Golden Pheasant each bookend a 1958 photo of American poet Robert Frost... Miles to go before he sleeps, it may be, but at least he'll have two beers to make his Saturday sojourn more enjoyable...

With the Golden Pheasant, I gave too much head. Story of my life! Or, That's what she said! Hahahahaha! =)
