The VB is thankfully a safe space to let my ID run free. Yesterday my cousin was Citizen of the Year in Avon,NY where Mortalis is located. We went to the dinner in her honor: reason #1 why I love small towns: my bar tab was $75 for had to be over 10 drinks: wines, Cosmos, beers…. No shots though, it’s a classy inn.
Tonight is the annual Oktoberfest at my other cousins house, which means I can snap a few pics and get rowdy. Work weekend, enjoyed your beers yesterday! As Rusty Featherstone of the Tik Toks says: this could be the best Sunday ever!!!! cheers

4 AM cat alarm clock. About ready to rcv some needed rain. 5 hrs is enuf time to earn a beer. I shall tarry not but dive right into the fray with a Minocqua Culper Spy Ring WC IPA. It is quite delish and bitter with the correct WC citrus zest finish.
I have 5 free pints comin' my way. 3 from the Eagles Club #34, 1 from the Schooner, and 1 from Wandering Leaf Brewing. Nice!

Dang. No rain yet but definitely a hankering for another splash of that fun water Minocqua Culper Spy Ring WC IPA. They did a great job w this one. Brisk and at 40 IBU it boasts a bulging level of bitterness without losing the malts. Cheers!
