After a morning at a museum with one of the kids on his field trip, I'm trying to catch up with what I missed. Apparently tailgating a childrens field trip to a museum is frowned upon? So, I had to wait.
This doesn't suck.
I found out yesterday this beer was going to hit my area today. Can't wait to try it. I really like IPLs and I've been impressed with Otter Creek's last few releases. I already designated this as my movie beer for tomorrow night.
Don't get too frightened, this isn't in your face hoppy! There is an explosion of puffed corn in the flavor, maybe that's why I like it. It tastes like Kellogg's Pops with some grapefruit juice. If that makes sense.
Today's batch of medicine
"I'm in trouble for the things I haven't got to yet, I'm chomping at the bit and my palms are getting wet, sweating bullets"
Just grabbed some this week. I was picking up some beer and the beer guy had a case of this he was about to open and put on display and recommended it. He told me they were going to do tastings of it this weekend. But, I figured Double Dose was amazing and Kind Ryed was very good. So, I just said "OK, give me a 6 pack".
If you are into IPL, then you will probably enjoy it. I'm not as big a fan of the lager yeast taste, but it's a good beer.
Good question. Mmmm. . . . the name is written backwards . . .
Oh, I love guessing games!
Excellent Baltic porter.

I want to raise my glass to you today kind sir. You have been waiting patiently in China talking about how you could not wait to come home and enjoy some beer. Nice to see you getting down to business. Cheers @Jsteez

It is very crisp. Easy drinker. From a small brewery in Wichita Kansas
called Tallgrass. They put out some nice beers. I have a four pack of their velvet
rooster also. It is a very drinkable triple.
Fedex doesn't know they do it either.
Finishing my last bottle from my case of Schlenkerla's Eiche for the season. So sad. Such a delicious beer.
