My last bottle of the 12pk of Newcastle Brown Ale.

It was fun revisiting, glad it's getting imported again instead of that whacky Lagunitas recipe.

I'd love to similarly see Bass Ale again, another staple of teh 90s for me.

Enjoying Aether from Mortalis courtesy of the #1 Hoosier fan on BA @jzeilinger. This is my favorite of the Mortalis offerings, dig the hop use once again! J, i did pick the Hoosiers in our weekly pool, i have faith! @ATL6245 my prognostications have me picking UGA over 'Bama today. Best of luck to both of you!

1) Dovetail Vienna Lager (5.1%): A Vienna lager from Chicago with flavors of grains, light spices, and yeast.
versus
2) Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams (5.2%): A Czech Amber lager from North Dakota with flavors of dark malt, amber notes, toasted and roasted flavors.. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Vienna vs Czech Amber Lager battle. I thought these would be more similar. First is Dovetail who makes some great lagers. This is their Vienna Lager. Very underwhelming here. A bit too much yeast and tart flavors. Maybe an off-flavor here. Wasn't impressed the first time I tried this an revisiting it years later, and still underwhelmed. Dovetail usually makes some great lagers. Oh well.
Next is Drekker with their Czech Amber lager. Dark grains, some hints of dark fruit. Lightly toasted notes. I'm glad I picked up the last pack of these because this is excellent.
Winner: Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams

Currently at Rhinegeist Brewery. Drinking their Double Oaked Ink...an Imperial Stout aged in Red Wine and Bourbon Barrels.
