What beer are you drinking now? #4840

I have not had a true Belgian beer in awhile so this is really enjoyable. The balance and brightness remind me why these classics never fade. I have to make a note to drink more of these. I should go to Monks Cafe more too!

Yes to all of the above , I cant find single barrel but small batch in the last year has become readily available on the shelf, along with Eagle Rare and Blantons (not as readily available )

 

Nondenominational. Wow, way over spiced for my tastes. Mass quantities of cinnamon and gingerbread. Unglaublich! This one is going down the drain.

Happy MLK Day BA's. Getting geared up to watch my Hoosiers play in the National Championship tonight! Simply crazy to think they are in this position. Go Hoosiers!
Enjoying a Brothership Sector 7 WC IPA (Mosaic, Strata, Nelson, Simcoe, NZ Cascade, Simcoe CO2 Extract, Mosaic Cryo). They're using a new yeast on this one that definitely adds a bit of haze and a slight juicy aspect, but this one is still west coast at it's core. Finishes dry and bitter with an expressive hop character throughout. Big yellow grapefruit flesh and peel, big herbaceous dank, lychee, blueberry diesel, key lime, passionfruit, some white grape, earthy pine resin. Awesome stuff.

 

Celebrator Doppelbock kinda night. Cheers!!
