What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4871

1) Phase Three Perpetual Sounds (7.7% canned 12/8/25): A DDH NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Amarillo for flavors of fruity blueberry tea, peachy grapefruit.
versus
2) Phase Three Dimensional Drift (8.0% canned 1/21/26): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic, Amarillo, Krush for flavors of orange, guava, and blueberry bubblegum. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Phase Three IPA Battle. First is Perpetual Sounds. Mosaic and Amarillo combo for blueberry tea and orange and peach. Approaching the three month mark, but the Mosaic flavor here is fantastic.
Next is Phase Three Dimensional Drift, my first try at this one and only three weeks fresh. Mosaic and Amarillo but plus some Krush for a bit more of the tropical cocktail of guava, mango, blueberry bubblegum notes. Fantastic array of flavors and nice addition of Krush here. These Phase Three gems are amazing.
Winner: Phase Three Dimensional Drift

 

After only my second day on the slopes this season (upper respiratory crud and Mother Nature not giving us the good stuff), stopped at Tommyknocker's in Idaho Springs for their tomato artichoke soup and a brew. Did their oatmeal stout and have a shifter of their imperial stout warming a bit. Cheers y'all.

Chicago beers this evening, starting off with a beer from the best lager brewery in the city, IMHO, with Goldfinger in that company as well. This Pilsner is loaded with noble hop flavors and a nice bit of cereal grain. Absolutely love it.

 

Next, a new to me brewery and beer - “Red #10” a red ale from Idyll Hounds Brewing, Santa Rosa Beach, FL:



Watery meh. Kinda weird sour nose. Weak caramel malt. One and done…

I’m going back to the hotel where I have a Yeti full of beer I like to drink. Cheers y’all!

Union Jack on the patio . Hard to beat WCIPA for $10.49/sixer . Hope we get some Double Jack. Seems like I haven’t had that for 10 years or so.
