That's a porterhouse. Just had a conversation with someone else about this. The spec on porterhouse is min 1.25" from the bone on the tenderloin side, that's well over that. Anything less is a T-bone. I've been cutting these for years.

 

My son and I are trying Bissell Brothers' DDH Reciprocal.

I have been privileged to try some of the New Trail beers as sent by @jzeilinger , i am sure this is very well done as well!

Enjoy a WCIPA from Almanac at the hotel room post lunch and a visit to Eureka's Clarke Historical Museum, an interesting walk thru the timeline of the Redwoods Highway aka US-101 and tourism in the region and a nicely curated exhibition of local tribes weaving skills and some of the tribe's histories. The weaving skill level was very impressive.
