    I’m celebrating the end of 3 dry weeks at one of my favorite breweries, Rushing Duck, currently enjoying Attack of the Crab Monsters, an Imperial English Brown Ale. It’s delicious with big notes of sweet, bready malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and nuts. One of the best English Browns I’ve ever had. Cheers!

    Happy Friday indeed ba. Dreary, grey, and wet here all week but we should be hitting some nicer temps in the coming week. Gonna relax for the evening and see if I can get into the world baseball classic at all.

    Into it w/ Power of 2, ddh dipa (citra, mosaic, nelson, galaxy, simcoe), sand city. Hop forward, not overly fruity and just crazy good hop juice,

    One more pour at Bull and Bear: Nimtopsical, an English Strong Ale. RD hadn’t brewed it for years and I’m glad to finally try it. Nice balance of sweet toffee and bitter, burnt toast. Cheers to the weekend, BAs!

    One more beer before I tackle dinner. Dinner will be relatively easy, angel hair pasta with peas, scallions, sliced ham, olive oil, and pesto. One of my favorite pasts dishes and I haven't had it in a while - plus lots of Parmesan cheese.

    Starting my beer day with a glass of KBS chocolate espresso. Very surprised to see this on tap here in SW Washington. Tasty beer, though not my favorite KBS variant. A bit more sweetness/richness would help this considerably. Believe I can still choke it down.
