I am not really an IPA guy, but I am always up for trying anything from a new to me brewery.

I hear ya! OJ Run is one of my favorite local IPAs. Just recently grabbed a couple four packs of King OJ Run which really kicks it up many levels!

 

3 Sheeps 15-2 (7.2%): An American Stout from Wisconsin with flavors of dark cocoa, rich chocolate, red velvet, cherrywood, and espresso roast.

Always a fantastic American Imperial Stout from 3 Sheeps. Probably the best American Stout I know of. Dark chocolate, rich cherrywood. Finish is decadent, sweet, with a nice balance of roast and bitterness. 3 Sheeps makes some amazing stouts I've learned. Not sure what 15-2 refers to anymore. This beer could use a name rebranding. The actual beer is a masterpiece.

That is because 8 is a Dark Strong, my favourite style.

 

Rain shortened 3 mile walk today, managed 2. Continued yesterday's 66th birthday celebration with $2 drafts, Hofbrau Delicator Doppelbock and then a trio of Pseudo Sue's, plus my free birthday brisket nachos from Tap 22. Also 1/2 price spinach & artichoke dip w/crostinis and an order of portobello fries. Cheers!

First up is a new beer to me. Courtesy of my sister’s recent trip to Jekyll Island. Savannah River Brewing IPA 7%

Citrusy with a little pine on the back end. Very nice so far. Cheers

You sir, have impeccable taste! I carry my 119 ~90% of the time. It must be a ‘Scott’ thing? I never leave home without a knife but occasionally the Buck stands out too much so that’s when I carry the Frank B.

I’ve carried my 119 for so long now that I wore through the belt loop on the sheath. Emailed Buck last year and they sent me a new sheath free of charge!
