Revolution Dethurana BBA Imperial Stout, 14.1% ABV. I rated this 4.59 way back in February.

Ain't that the truth, in regards to...

I could argue Belgian strong dark ale is my favorite style. Almost any amber+ strong ale, really. But I rarely follow through with purchase - oddly enough. Try to find Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer at some point, I would humbly suggest. I haven't seen it in a while, myself.

My son and I are trying Hill Farmstead Brewery' George. Pretty darn good brown ale.

Laid some tile in our dungeon / laundry room. Mistakes were made, regrets happened. Still need to grout and hide missteps.

It’ been another relaxing day of visiting with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. There is a pretty good Syrian restaurant in Columbia and I’m having a chicken shawarma sandwich and grape leaves. The beer is Big Tree DIPA from Bur Oak. We’re now watching Florida State hang with Duke. Cheers!

I have been scrolling while waiting for dinner to cook and I swear I have not seen so many dark beers in the thread for an almost Spring day. I love darks year round but the dark distribution today seems high, Cheers!

Convinced me to save some of the Golden Money and enjoy my last can of Verboten- Czech Dark Lager.

There are two teams I feel we can't beat. Your team and Duke.

Of course, anyone can beat anyone, which is why I feel we can lose to every team left.

But I'd be much happier with a Clemson vs FSU other semifinal matchup... only to be disappointed by losing to Miami.

It's been a while since I've had Devils Backbone. It's a good beer but a good Vienna Lager will be a little more toasty (not caramelly or nutty), have more firm bitterness, and a dry finish. It should almost be the amber equivalent of a German Pilsner (for lack of a better comparison). Most of our Vienna Lagers lean more sweet than dry. That, of course, is strictly my opinion! If you ever see Schilling's Volksgarten, be sure to try it. That's one of the best domestically made ones I've had.

I can see why. This brew was from 2022 and rocked my taste buds. I'll be seeking more for sure.
