Pork pinwheel with a Trillium Congress Street IPA for lunch. Our local beer mart got Congress Street and Fort Point canned about 2/6/2026.

 

We have 0 plans now. I trust things are about to escalate.

Double Pixel from Phase Three, straight juicy Citra deliciousness. Noticed I hit my 14th BA Anniversary Friday. That is crazy to think about. I wonder what this beer would have tasted like to me back then. I was only a casual observer for the first year or so but started interacting a bit at the virtual bar around the time Lagunitas Sucks came out. I grew up on PBR and High Life but always had a taste for bigger, bolder, more flavorful beers. Started with Canadian and German imports, then Pete’s Wicked and SNPA. Sucks really got me hooked on hops and all the wonderful flavors they can bring to a beer. Good stuff, great times. Cheers, all!

 

Trying to clean up the basement. In a mood / understanding of looking at how much shit is collected down here that the wife and kids would need to sort through, make decisions, and handle in the event I’m dead any time soon. What seems important or family historical that hasn’t been touched in eight years is neither important nor family historical.

Glad to see Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout around here again. Place that has it at $17/4 is out, but another store has it at $23/4. I guess 2 miles makes a difference. LOL!
