    ...local blues legend (died too young from minor surgery complications)...used to see him at Front Range BBQ in the Springs (where I believe this was recorded)...also saw him opening for BB King at the Pikes Peak Center circa 2008 (probably the second to last time I saw BB (who played more than he talked -- unlike during the last show of his we saw)...I think the final time seeing John-Alex Mason was opening for Johnny Winter at Colorado College...JAM was as awesome as ever, unfortunately, Johnny was horrible...we left early -- overly loud and distorted sound...a shame, as I do love Johnny Winter music...anyway, JAM passed away at age 35...

    All the shrubs, trees and potted plants just got a good soaking…boy, it’s been hot and dry here for quite awhile…I hope I’m not too late…meanwhile, I’m inside drinking a cold Head Hunter:

    I’ve been watering the potted plants in the back yard with soapy water from washing the 2 RVs and the cargo trailer multiple days last week, so they look pretty good…I may go hit them with a drink later today…Cheers from Sunshine City y’all!
