I love the ending piece of this song!
That had to hurt like a B-Atch! Pretty awesome Baphomet though.
Jack's Abby Barrel-Aged Framinghammer
Got things done early, now it's time to listen to the wind and drink a brew. Drinking this wishing it were a Sucks. But it's all gone in my neck of the woods. Time to make due with what I got....
All this talking about Baphomet got me thinking ov this song!
Yesterday was more fun than today, so I am pretending I'm not in my office but still on the sunny porch with some good brews.
I see what you did there!
Just had a Hopslam draft at Fat Heads Saloon in Pittsburgh while pickin' up some Hop JuJu 4 packs. Successful day.
Fuck yeah, man; super, super heavy riff. That more or less sums up the whole album, but that riff kills me every time.
Moved on to Blackwater; speaking of heavy riffs! If you're a drummer, play along with the title track; it's not really all that difficult, but holy shit, will you get tired! (Or at least, I will; maybe I'm just the most unathletic dude ever.)
Hmmm, looks like it's about beer:30 here, so I'd better find something else to post.
What ever do you mean ? . I was going to response with that but that one is all too easy.
Drinking Victory Hop Ranch
Listening to Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around
This is a recycled pic. RIP to Harold Ramis. One of the best comedy minds of all times. Your movies provide some of the best quotes no matter the age.
Back to School
National Lampoon's Vacation
Watching this now and it is almost to thise scene. Too bad I am not drinking anything at this point. Maybe later tonight I'll bust open my last of the Sucks that I have.
It's Stout Week, going to drink them in order from left to right. Today is Badger Hill Foundation Stout.
That bottle reminds me of Prong's "Snap your fingers, Snap your neck". Wait, here it is.
OK, @Shroud0fdoom I'm inspired now. Time to work up a sweat.
Heady is a pretty good motivator, too.
Edit: my new kick drum head making its first appearance in WBAYDN? after my casualty last week.
Dark Horse/Local Option Top Fuel (Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine)
Badger Hill Foundation Stout, listening to NEEDTOBREATHE
Just found out about Ramis! R.I.P. Egon Spangler .
I could supply some strings if you're willing to share some Topper?!
Haha. If I had Heady to go around, hell yeah I'd host!
(At first I thought you meant literal, actual strings, and I was thinking, "Yeah, I do need to replace my guitar and bass strings, but that seems like a steep price for HT!")
Great beer, awesome album!
Drinkin' straight outta da can bitches!! LOVE this beer!
RIP Harold Ramis
Drinking and "ticking" this.
It's solid I will drink again, but it didn't make me need to change my boxer briefs.
R.I.P. Harold Ramis.
Lol beat me to it!
Had an awesome birthday weekend with friends!
Wife surprised me with a 3L, and Isabelle Proximus was a birthday extra from a super generous west coast trader!!
Well, I am only 16 hours away from VT. Some string trading could be useful for both our sakes..
North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner.
At Swamp Head in Gainesville right, enjoying their new DIPA, Tropical Disturbance, on tap. It's pretty goddamn good.
I think I'm enjoying this just about as much a the two glasses of Hopslam I had on tap last night at the Top.
Happy post Naked Day, and I wish I had another Curieux.
Just finished picking up bottles for @SammyJaxxxx and got my first sixer of this for myself. Time to clean my desk? MAYBE
It goes without saying (but I am going to any way!) that is one of King's best! The Stand, It, Needful Things, Dark Tower series and Desperation are my favorites!
And of course I must post this song inspired by The Stand:
\m/ Cheers \m/
Happy birthday! Looks like an awesome time!
Any time you swing up to New England, you know you've got a spot here to stop by, bro. Great beer + great tunes = good time.
Took a friend with me up to VT for our HF run on Saturday. Exposed him to a bunch of Opeth, Lamb of God, Gojira, Rammstein, and David Bowie.
.....just realized there's one of those "One of these things is not like the other" going on, but fuck it; Bowie rules. (Plus, he's not a headbanger, so I felt I needed to give him a break.)
Also: "Do. Re. EGON." fucking rules.
TBH, I don't just listen to one form of music (not an elitist). I don't judge others by what they drink nor what they like musically. Unless it's complete garbage.
Happy Monday.... Cheers!
My wife's taste in David Bowie and Depeche Mode sealed the deal for me, old-school dirthead music roots aside. It's also nice to shift from growling death metal to post-industrial/jazz-heavy Bowie for the musically uninitiated.
This is the best dogfish beer I've ever had.
Did you ask her "Are you the Gatekeeper"? And did she answer "Are you the Key Master"? That would have sealed the deal as well. I agree sometimes where you find yourself bored with one style, try another style. There is always something in each category you will like. Unless you're a ginger and you have no soul.
After work beer. I just got the opportunity to start selling this beer and all other Bells offerings at the wholesaler I work for cheers BA. This'll be a staple in the fridge all summer long, if summer ever comes...
