    Having a Genesee Bock with a Bacon-Egg-Cheeseburger, on a whole wheat English Muffin. Was at OKComputers house a bit ago and we had: Ommegang Take the Black Stout, Selkirk Abbey 10, and a Rouge XS Imperial Red (in the 7oz bottle, Attn breweries, please more big beers in "split" bottles, Mmmkay?).

    After weeks of awaiting label approval from the TABC, Vanilla Noir is finally here. The vanilla is prominent, especially as it warms. Complemented well by the charred oak from the whiskey barrel. Another excellent offering from Prairie!

    Phenomenal beer. Easily my favorite DIPA in a bottle.

    I've got to say, the name was spot on... More or less.
    This wasn't terrible per se but it sure wasn't great, or even good. Talk about thin and no mouth feel. And this was barrel aged? Had me fooled

    This should replace locals light as a year round beer. English mild ales need to be a thing. Too bad no one but homebrewers understand/enjoy the style in this country. As far as I have seen.

    Favorite year round Saison easily available. Yep.

    Always available fresh. Insanely amazing all the time.

    Might be the freshest torpedo I have had to date.. 1/24/14 pure deliciousness. I don't know why I haven't but I'd love to try this classic on draft

    Started out with a Half Acre Navaja double IPA....fantastic beer! Wrapping up the night (I think) with a Hopslam.

    Just drank a growler of Odell IPA. First time I have tried this beer, liked it very much. Glad that it made it to TX.

    My rule (not always enforced) is always to drink it if I haven't had it. This is probably my favorite Cascade beer. It reminds me somewhat of the Deschutes/Hair of the Dog collaboration Collage, which is still turding it up on shelves around here.

    So I've been nursing this 2 year old bottle of Weyerbacher insanity for the past hour (which is mighty tasty btw) and just noticed ridiculous amounts of some mystery sediment in my glass. I'm guessing it yeast but I'm unsure. God damn I've never even seen a home brew with this much shit in it. Any insight on what it is or why it's there?

    I was there on the 19th while a beautiful snowstorm blew onto the hilltop. Loved the trip, time, and of course the beer.

    I had some S&S #6 at the Prohibition Pig on Monday and was amazed by it. I wanted a 2L fill of it, but they're trying to stretch it out and will only fill a 750ML growler. If that's representative of the other 6 in the S&S series, I can't imagine how good they must be.
    I've fallen in love with Mosaic hops, Hop Ranch and now S&S #6!

    I'm also splitting a growler of Abner with a friend today. Another superb beer from Hillstead. ;D

    Most place have bottles with a bit of age (namely at Total Wine). but give Secret Stache (vanilla stout at 5.4%) and Fascist Pig (good malty red at 8%) a shot. I personally like Cut Throat (PA brewed with orange peel) and Golden Wing as well.
