At Great Heights Brewing.

With their German Pilsner, Lothar. They haven't made this in a few years, glad they made it again as its really good.



Then their Irish Dry Stout, which is excellent.



I'm NOT describing this Philip Roth novel now, you either know him and at least know a little about the novel, or not..I don't have the stomach to try and describe it here ha...check out our What Book Are You Reading Now thread in a day or two ha.

 

Drinking a pint of Notch Brewery’s “French Disko” while I watch Wemby. Seems fitting.

This is a really great beer. With the crisp finish and sub 5% abv, I could see myself pursuing many of these once it gets into the summer.

 

Holla to @snaotheus for this La Cumbre Beer. A bright, crystal clear, pale gold Lager with good head, retention and lacing. Nice grain and hop aroma and flavor. Thanks again!

After Great Heights...wandering over to Johnny's Gold Brick.

With an Equal Part Kaizen Japanese Lager.



And the Rob Dogs Jazz Band playing...these guys are great. Its like a soul/funk/fusion band with Miles and Chick Corea influences.

 

Grill is fired up, Burgers & Spicy Conecuh Spicy & Hot Sausage rope. So good, surprised Walmart still sells it here. The meat gets slapped on in about 10 minutes





Second best new beer of the weekend, so far

I can't go to Johnny's and not have an Old Fashioned...not at the Tuesday $2 price of course, you have to pay full price sometimes ha.



That will be it for me today...maybe a small pour of a Bourbon at home, I'm re watching Deadwood which is an amazing western and just puts me in the mood for Bourbon ha.
