No New Breakfast beer today - three hours into the drizzly morning so I'll have a nice, local, rye barrel barleywine:



Delicious! I'm not a fanboy of East End Brewing, but they've certainly hit the mark with this one - for me anyway. After my first can, I went back and bought my local distributor out of these. There will definately be a can or two in the next stout/barleywine BIF!

Good morning BAdvocates. I’m drinking the second of the two Corona Lights I purchased last week. Supposed to play golf this evening. Didn’t get to play last week as the course screwed me over. Both the rain and wind had stopped, but for some reason they decided to close down early. Pansies .

I saw Jerry Cantrell last year and he played eight AIC songs including Would…it was a very good show!

 

Jerry is still carrying the torch for the band, while still making really good music for his own band. What could have been if Layne could have beaten his demons!

 

Just back from running downtown to get a new passport photo at the Main Library, as I am renewing my PP - on the off chance I may get to travel again at some future point! Not in the cards currently as I am main caregiver to my 93 year old mom, 6 days a week....

Destihl Moonjumper milk stout

 

Tree House - The Resolution hazy triple IPA brewed with liquid hop extracts, providing a super concentrated fruity juicebomb character with very little vegetal plant matter taste. Big stone fruit notes of peach nectar, ripe nectarine, sweet mango, diced pineapple, pomelo, sugar coated grapefruit, orange citrus, with a hint of dank earthy floral pine. Real great stuff imo, one of my favorites so far from Tree House. Cheers all!
