ps-Not trying to be disrespectful, but the only beer I drink from the can are Budweiser, and I don’t drink them anymore…

pps-I have not problem drinking Mickey’s from the bottle though!

 

Tree House - King Julius (Marathon Edition) 12oz can now. Lots of cantaloupe and honeydew melon notes, bright and zesty with big grapefruity orange citrus, hints of lime, with subtle berry, lychee, big pineapple, ripe mango, peach, and dank earthy floral pine flavors. Just what I'm looking for in a juicy hazy Citra hopped DIPA. Cheers everyone!

 

Enjoying a very nice Tripel from Bold Monk in ATL courtesy of Mr. ATL himself @ATL6245 while taking in the D-Backs-Pirates game. David, thank you very much for sharing this gem with me! The brewing team did a great job coaxing the yeast to maximum potential. I personally would keep a supply of this in my fridge given the scarcity of the style these days.

Very Yellow. Very Green with pineapple

 

#2, Manny’s Pale Ale from Georgetown Brewing Company. Boulevard Pale Ale started me down my beer nerd journey and this is another really good one, IMHO.

 

Bodhi is such a great beer, and it’s available almost everywhere. As long as the place has clean lines (not always a given!) then it’s what I order whenever I’m out.

 

Full afternoon of running errands and shopping done…home for the rest of the day…sitting on the side porch now drinking a Torpedo:



Puffy white clouds, deep blue sky, and a cool breeze this sunny 70-something afternoon…beautiful spring day. Cheers from South Charleston WV y’all!

Another non-Scottish beer, but I had to get this as it has been on my wants list forever and I never seem to see it around Seattle. But it’s on the shelf here in Edinburgh! Pannepot, brew date 2024, bottle date 8/20/25, best by 8/20/30.

This is so much more like a bold red wine than like a beer. Very interesting; glad I finally got to try it.

Guinness Draught Stout ...

 

1) Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams (5.2%): A Czech Amber lager from North Dakota with flavors of dark malt, amber notes, toasted and roasted flavors.
versus
2) Half Acre Ridge Tree (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Chicago with flavors of earthy dark grains, cocoa, bitter and roast. (Mismatched the two blind)

Dark Lager Battle and my two last dark lagers of the year. First is Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams a Czech Amber lager. Toasty, amber, yet dark and roasty.
Next is Half Acre Ridge Tree, a Czech Dark. Earth and cocoa. Smooth and soft.
I like this Drekker one today, but these are similar.
