Trying a New Belguim Rampant Imp IPA ,smells of grapefruit as I pop the cap off,nice citrus aroma and the bitterness hits nice up front.Cheers

 

HF Single Hop Citra in a Simon Pearce Tulip....helping keep my mind off the 3 bottles of KRBC Citra on there way from LA courtesy of J-Pro....an embarrassment of riches!!!

I liked, didn't love the Abyss, thrilled I got to try it. Those beers get cleaned off the shelf SW MO right now. Will cellar my other bottle. A SN Ruthless Rye after that; drank great & now on to Stone Matt's Burning Rosids ( way different than the first bottle I had).

you really got booze/bourbon? It's possible I'm entirely wrong, but I don't believe the white oak barrels are bourbon barrels. All I got from this beer was a very strong aroma and slightly less flavor of dill.

 

Also I am ready for baseball as I listen to Reds spring training leading 10-4 out in my garage mancave as 2-4 in if snow come down,tell me life can't get better.

 

Definitely booze. I was going back and forth between rum and bourbon, tbh. The nose is actually kind of an enigma to me....but I only had one via trade and it's already toast. It didn't last longer than 5 minutes, so I definitely liked it.

That was pushing my upper limits. Luckily I make up for on the other beers in Missouri which are 2 bucks a sixer cheaper or more than this side of the Elk & Neosho Rivers.

Probably should have drank this BEFORE the Dirtwolf. Not bad, not great.

 

I've got one of these in the frig to try, and I love the opener

 

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

 

Just got back from having some tasters and food...

 

drinking a Boulevard 2012 Saison -Brett this one was very carbonated (disliked) but also very dry and funky (liked)

 

Drinking Sucks, takin' a ride, and still feelin' mean—YEAhhhhhh!
